The OFON field is located in block OML 102, approximately 45km to the south-eastern coast of Nigeria (field initially brought into production in 1997).

The Phase 2 development essentially involves:
• Two new wellhead platforms - OFD3 and OFD5 - respectively located 5km north and 5km south from the central complex
• A new production platform, OFP2, installed bridge linked to the existing OFP1 platform forming a central complex gathering all the functions process and utilities: oil & gas treatment and export, power generation, water injection, gas lift, water treatment, etc.

The key objectives of this project was to stop gas flaring on OFON and deliver gas to Bonny LNG plant via Amenam facilities, and in increasing the production from current 50,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) to about 100,000 bopd.
